Installing the top terminal on the Van de Graaff Generator. The finish on the top terminal is aluminum foil. Small pieces of foil were attached with spray adheasive, then rubbed smooth with a soft cloth. This project is not finished. The PVC pipe was not sealed. The output, sparks from top terminal, decrease from 42 inches to 4 inches as the humidity rises from desert dry to normal.
